Dream Nu passionately envisions a sustainable, affordable, and customer-friendly future for children's fashion. We are dedicated to redefining industry norms by prioritizing sustainability, affordability, and a hassle-free customer experience. Our commitment extends to supporting Australian businesses, promoting ethical practices, and ensuring every garment tells a story of responsibility and care. Dream Nu aims to be the trusted platform where fashion meets conscience, creating a positive impact on both our planet and local communities.
Dream Nu was started by me, Sharon, a Mum of 4 beautiful girls. We had 4 girls in under 4 years, so we know first hand the cost of clothing can get expensive, hard to get the true love out of, and also a pain to sell when they have grown out of it! Working at a consignment shop when I was in the US, I see so much potential in Australia in making it more common to consign kids clothing!
We also help support Foundations such as Priceless House, who support and counsel those that have an unexpected pregnancy.
My family and I love the Lord, and we see His goodness every day. I see Dream Nu as an avenue to serve and love people because we are all in this together!
Our
Story
Believe it or not, it all really did start with a dream! When I was 17 years old I worked in a Children's Consignment shop. I really loved the idea of sustainability and the process! Fast forward many years later, I had a literal dream about selling high quality clothing, but offering to buy it back after customers kids had grown out of them. These two aspects are what Dream Nu is birthed from. The idea was to provide a cost effective way to re-purpose nice brand name clothing, and also offer options to support fellow Australian Businesses where customers can purchase new from, and when they are done with their clothing, to re-purpose it through Dream Nu. The apple tree in our logo represents the falling apple giving life to a new tree. This dream has now became a reality, and we are privileged and excited to have launched Dream Nu!

Dream Nu is Passionate about:
1. Sustainability
- Saving the Earth- so many clothing goes to waste due to poor quality in addition to kids outgrowing them so quickly! Our goal is to re-purpose high quality clothing to allow them remain useful even after kids have out grown them.
- Lowering Child Labour- Sadly the reality is that with such a highly saturated consumer market of kids clothing and the demand for cheaper, less expensive clothing, that there is risk of child labour involved. Supporting higher end brand name clothing that can have more than one use combats the need for the high demand market of cheap clothing.
2. Affordability
- Once we buy a brand new item and wash it once or twice, it often ends in the same shape as many of the pre-loved items that we offer here at Dream Nu. That is why Dream Nu offers to buy back the new to retail collection that we sell, making the overall spend a fraction of the price of the clothing you buy with us, but we also provide a cost effective alternative to buying brand clothes with our pre-loved collection.
3. Customer Ease
- We all have been there and tried posting our items on gumtree, facebook or some other online mediator. The issue many of us experience is the hassle of dealing with potential buyers that pull out at last minute, haggle you down on price, and also the posting or having strangers come to your home. In addition, if you list multiple items, you could have to deal with various different people.
With Dream Nu, we take away the uncomfortable conversations, and bargaining with customers, without disclosing your personal address or information. When you buy our from our new to retail collection, we have a guarantee to buy it back when you done, no hassles! And if you didn't purchase our new to retail, you can still consign name brand items wiht us. Once your item(s) sell, you simply get money in the bank! You can use your funds in our shop, or you can request a Paypal payout.
4. Supporting Australian Businesses
- Massive overseas manufacturing not only cuts into local retail shops income, but often this could include child labor and/or other non-ethical values, and poor quality. We believe in promoting and supporting ethical Australian Businesses to keep Australia strong!
